Resource centers come first.
RISE is starting with opportunities to connect—not a full workshop schedule. Resource-center sessions give community members a place to begin exploring support and help RISE understand which services and topics matter most.

LEAVEN gave RISE a place to begin.
LEAVEN gave RISE the chance to put this idea into practice: a place to meet people, connect them with resources, and learn what support would make a difference. That opportunity is helping RISE build participation and grow alongside the community.
Beginning October 1, 2026, RISE will have an office at LEAVEN. This next step gives RISE a home base for its work and a place to keep building those connections.

As participation increases, RISE plans to offer weekly workshops with changing topics, along with mock interviews. The aim is practical help that responds to what people need—not the same lesson every week.
Topics may include résumé preparation, job applications, career exploration, workplace communication, and interview confidence. Mock interviews will give participants a chance to practice, receive constructive feedback, and prepare for real conversations with employers.
Workshops have not started yet. Topics, dates, and attendance details will be posted as sessions are confirmed. Community members, volunteers, and employers can help shape the schedule by sharing their interests and experience.
